ROAD 2 RECOVERY ENDS OUTDOOR SERIES WITH “SCOURCHING” 3rd ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

Road 2 Recovery with Rockwell Time brings to a close the Outdoor series with an event for the history book! Bringing in scores never before seen at The Links!! 82 players on 18 holes, a countless number of water bottles and a couple of beers, helped the guys and gals endure the heat and have a killer day. This year’s champs were J Star Motors; Jared Merrell, Todd Beard, Nathan Ramsey, and James Warburton who each took home a Rockwell Time Special Edition Under Armour Watch and the championship trophy. 2nd place went to Dunlop Tires; Broc Glover, Mike Gilliand, Gerritt Pon, and Logan Fondren who each happily took home a Go Pro Camera and trophy. 3rd place went to Two Two Motorsports’ Chad Reed and Michael Byrne who played hard by themselves to secure a set of Sol Republic Headphones and trophy. ROAD 2 RECOVERY COLLECTING DONATIONS FOR RYAN “RYNO” HUGHES

The Road 2 Recovery Foundation is accepting donations for Motocross legend Ryan Hughes who was injured at Pala Raceway on February 13, 2013. Ryan sustained a number of serious injuries to his spine including a broken T-3 and shattered T-4, which initially caused paralysis to most of Ryan’s extremities. Fortunately for Ryan the paralysis was only temporary and he was able to regain feeling and movement after doctors successfully fused his back from T-2 to T-6. As of February 15th Ryan has endured 2 surgeries, the first surgery was performed when a blood clot again caused partial paralysis due to swelling near the spine and subsequent pressure to the spinal cord, and the second to stabilize his back.
